Members club shipments are already discounted, and any club selections can be reordered at additional savings off posted club prices, (single bottle 5%, 12 bottles or more 10%, mix and match). You will have up to 30 days to reorder featured wines, subject to availability of wine in stock. However, these discounts do not apply to wines already discounted.
We offer two convenient ways of purchasing
You will be conveniently billed on a monthly basis. You will remain a member, receiving monthly wine deliveries to your home, or office, until you contact us and ask us to cancel your membership. You pay only for the wines you receive plus shipping and handling. There are no signup fees, no monthly membership cost. You can cancel your membership at any time without penalties or obligations.
With the prepay option you pay for the set duration of the membership up front, including shipping. This is ideal when purchasing a membership as a gift
for a loved one or a business associate.
Price increase on shipping by major shipping carriers
All the major shippers have had significant price increases in 2008, primarily due to the cost of fuel. Air shipments have been affected the most. During the summer months, the air shipment rate can be prohibitive, and we recommend not shipping at all, but waiting until the cooler months. On the less expensive clubs, the shipping cost can easily be more expensive than the club price itself. Keep this in mind when signing up for, or giving a club for a gift.
Shipping information - Shipping is extra and will be charged upon shipping your monthly order. The shipping rate will vary per shipment, depending on time of year, and region being shipped to. Hawaii will be more expensive. In the summer months we ship either 2-day air, or 3-day air, and the cost will be at the upper end of the rate scale, in the winter we ship ground, and the rate will be at the lower end of the scale. Taylor & Norton Wine Merchants reserves the right to hold shipment of your wine during extreme weather conditions, or use expedited shipping to avoid in transit delays due to weather or holidays. If your shipment is delayed until the following months shipment, we will resume shipping of the current month, unless you request both the missed and current shipments at the same time. If the wine club shipment is a gift, we will make every effort to have it delivered prior to the needed gift date, this may require expedited shipping. Taylor & Norton Wine Merchants cannot be responsible for damage to wine (including leakage or damaged corks) shipped to you against our express protestations in regards to weather conditions. Please be aware of the scheduled delivery information, as the date, and location of your delivery cannot be changed once it leaves our warehouse. It is your responsibility to be present when your shipment arrives. If the weather is very hot or cold in your area, and you would like us to postpone our shipping, please advise us. Use the weather in your area as a guide, when making your choice for best shipping method. We do not advise shipping ground during temperatures over 80 degrees, or under 32. If you need your order by a specific date, please let us know If the weather is too hot, or too cold, we will hold your shipment until the weather is acceptable. We cannot currently ship wine clubs to: AL, AR, DE, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MA, MS, MT, NJ, OK, PA, SD, TN, UT
